The view from here directly onto the north face of the majestic glaciated peak of ”La Meije” provides a truly exhilarating view from the mountain villages Val Froide, Les Hieres, Ventelon, Les Terrasse, and Chazelet their name says it all! The scenery is just what you would expect from such an exceptional location. You will see how each valley has a distinctive character, each trail has a personality and each path has its hidden secrets with breathtaking views.
It is possible to bike up from La Grave to the hamlets, where all adventure biking is located on paved and gravel roads or wider double tracks. Some trails weave along valleys and traverses that offer a limitless variety from tame to some steeper terrain. Possibility to find a places for a lunch break on the way.
